Job Description: Job title: Strategic Business Analyst (M/F/X) Role Summary: Analyze and model financial performance to support fundraising, investor reporting, and long‑term strategy for a deep‑tech MedTech company. Lead the creation of dashboards, market segmentation studies, and licensing business cases that drive growth decisions and operational efficiency. Expectations: - Deliver high‑quality financial models, pitch decks, and investor materials on a regular cadence. - Translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership. - Maintain up‑to‑date market intelligence and competitive benchmarking. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to align financial narratives with product and commercialization plans. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain robust FP&A models for fundraising, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning. - Design and populate dashboards and performance reports for product, operations, and finance teams. - Identify growth levers and recommend operational efficiencies through analytics. - Structure licensing agreements and develop comprehensive business models for partnerships. - Conduct in‑depth market research, segment customer/stakeholder profiles, and benchmark competitors. - Produce investor-facing materials, including pitch decks, financial presentations, and go‑to‑market recommendations. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data‑visualization platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI). - Solid experience in financial modeling, market analysis, and business performance tracking. - Ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data. - Familiarity with CRM and BI tools; SQL or Python experience is a plus. - Strong analytical, structured thinking, and strategic mindset. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize complex information. - Proactive, organized, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field. - 3‑6 years of experience in business analysis, strategy consulting, FP&A, M&A consulting, or market research. - Experience in MedTech, deep‑tech, or regulated industries is highly desirable.
