**Job title:** Senior Technology Strategist – Data, AI & Cybersecurity **Role Summary:** Drive strategic technology initiatives across data management, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity to align IT infrastructure with business objectives. Act as a consultant to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and security posture for civil infrastructure stakeholders. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑impact, data‑driven technology strategies within a contract, on‑site engagement. - Influence decision‑makers through actionable insights and evidence‑based recommendations. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends in AI, data analytics, and cybersecurity. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and present technology roadmaps that integrate data, AI, and cybersecurity assets. - Conduct gap analyses of existing IT infrastructures and propose optimization plans. - Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. - Lead cross‑functional workshops to gather requirements, validate solutions, and facilitate stakeholder buy‑in. - Evaluate and recommend tools, platforms, and frameworks for data integration, analytics, and threat detection. - Oversee the implementation of security controls and compliance measures across digital assets. - Mentor and collaborate with internal teams on best practices for data governance, AI ethics, and secure architecture. - Monitor project progress, manage risks, and report outcomes to senior leadership. **Required Skills:** - Strategic IT planning and architecture design - Data strategy & analytics framework development - AI/ML solution evaluation and integration - Cybersecurity risk assessment and framework implementation (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) - Business process analysis and optimization - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills - Proven experience leading cross‑disciplinary teams - Familiarity with infrastructure environments (cloud, hybrid, on‑prem) **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field - Relevant certifications highly preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), TOGAF, or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
