Job Description

Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer Intern (Summer 2026) Role Summary: Assist in developing and deploying machine learning models for cloud and edge platforms. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate domain requirements into algorithmic solutions and contribute to data preparation and augmentation. Expectations: - Complete at least 40 hours per week over the internship term. - Maintain a minimum college GPA of 3.3. - Demonstrate clear, professional communication and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: - Design, train, and evaluate ML models using deep learning and statistical methods. - Integrate models into hardware and software components for deployment. - Collect, generate, and augment datasets in collaboration with subject‑matter experts. - Identify algorithmic and model requirements based on domain expertise. Required Skills: - Familiarity with ML concepts and at least one framework (TensorFlow or PyTorch). - Proficiency in Python or MATLAB. - Basic understanding of deep reinforcement learning, large language models, or comparable techniques. Required Education & Certifications: - Must be enrolled in a college or university program (≥1 year of study). - Minimum GPA 3.3; official transcripts required upon application. - No additional certifications required, though experience with prompt engineering or retrieval‑augmented generation is a strong advantage.
