The Orange County Clerk of Courts maintains nearly 2.5 million circuit and county court records for the 9th Judicial Circuit Court. Our collections program is recognized statewide for its effectiveness, as we return millions of dollars that we collect each year through fees and fines to the state as well as various local agencies and programs. As the Information Hub of the Justice System, we keep myorangeclerk.com up-to-date with case information while also providing customers access to their files and all their court needs. Customers, who consistently give us a 97% or higher satisfaction rating, come to us to pay traffic and criminal fines, initiate or contest a civil case, pursue probate issues and make child support payments. We help customers file domestic violence injunctions and seek help for a loved one with mental health or substance abuse issues. Job title: Senior Infrastructure Analyst Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and continuous operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure—including Azure cloud, VMware virtualization, and hybrid operating systems—ensuring high availability, robust security, and scalable performance. Expectations: Deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective infrastructure solutions; mentor staff; engage with leadership to align technology strategy with operational goals; manage vendor relationships and budgeting for infrastructure investments. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, implement, and maintain cloud (Microsoft Azure), virtualization (VMware), and on‑premise environments. - Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring. - Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - Monitor system performance, capacity, and security; apply optimizations and upgrades. - Provide budgetary guidance and ROI analysis for infrastructure projects. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modernization of legacy systems. - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills: - 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years managing enterprise infrastructure. - Advanced expertise in VMware virtualization, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365. - Proven experience in disaster recovery planning, capacity planning, and system monitoring. - Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and project oversight capabilities. - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. - Preferred certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
