Job title: Senior Infrastructure Analyst Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and continuous operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure—including Azure cloud, VMware virtualization, and hybrid operating systems—ensuring high availability, robust security, and scalable performance. Expectations: Deliver reliable, secure, and cost‑effective infrastructure solutions; mentor staff; engage with leadership to align technology strategy with operational goals; manage vendor relationships and budgeting for infrastructure investments. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, implement, and maintain cloud (Microsoft Azure), virtualization (VMware), and on‑premise environments. - Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring. - Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans. - Monitor system performance, capacity, and security; apply optimizations and upgrades. - Provide budgetary guidance and ROI analysis for infrastructure projects. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modernization of legacy systems. - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
