**Job Title:** Senior Analyst - Model Build **Role Summary:** Develop, refine, and validate complex financial models to support strategic decision‑making. Lead sensitivity analyses, document assumptions and methodologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of modelling processes within a remote, collaborative team. **Expectations:** - 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis within an advisory practice or large corporate setting. - Strong grasp of accounting principles and fundamentals of project finance, corporate finance, or financial planning. - Proficiency in advanced Excel model building and sensitivity analysis. - Ability to translate technical model outputs into clear insights for non‑technical stakeholders. - Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a distributed team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in creating and optimizing comprehensive financial models. - Develop and refine assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under guidance of senior staff. - Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model outputs. - Contribute to the enhancement of modelling methodologies and tools. - Prepare detailed model documentation covering assumptions, methodology, and results. - Maintain meticulous records of modelling processes to ensure consistency and quality. - Support project planning, timelines, and resource allocation for efficient delivery. - Collaborate with team members, learning and sharing best practices. - Communicate model findings clearly to clients and internal teams, simplifying complex issues for non‑technical audiences. **Required Skills:** - Advanced Excel modelling and analytical skills. - Strong foundation in accounting concepts. - Understanding of project finance, corporate finance, or financial planning frameworks. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and independently. - Familiarity with the FAST financial modeling standard is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related numerate discipline. - Postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance is beneficial. - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA) are considered advantageous but not mandatory.
