Job title: Founding Applied AI Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and production of AI models that enable rapid contract review, negotiation, and management for legal professionals. Work closely with the CTO and product teams to translate customer needs into scalable, high‑performance solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Prototype, train, and deploy production‑ready machine learning models for legal text analysis. • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, model serving architectures, and monitoring systems. • Collaborate with product and UX teams to define feature requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Resolve complex system failures, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement robust solutions. • Engage with early customers to gather feedback, troubleshoot issues, and iterate product features in real time. • Own tasks from conception through production, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
