Job Description: **Job title** Data Consultant – Graduate / Intern **Role Summary** Support advisory engagements by extracting, cleansing, and analysing financial data to build dashboards and automation solutions. Work closely with finance, IT and business teams to deliver actionable insights that improve finance processes and client decision‑making. **Expectations** - Graduate or final‑year student in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. - Strong work ethic, positive mindset and a collaborative attitude. - Ability to learn basic accounting concepts and adapt to new business processes. - Eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship). **Key Responsibilities** - Collect and validate data from client ERP and other sources. - Cleanse, transform and load data using SQL and other ETL techniques. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for finance metrics. - Assist in designing and implementing automation workflows to optimise month‑end processes. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Document data models, queries and reporting procedures. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, data validation). - Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts; experience with Power BI is a plus. - Understanding of accounting principles is desirable but not mandatory. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or final year of study in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - No compulsory certifications, but prior exposure to SQL, Power BI or data analytics courses is advantageous.
