Job Description

**Job title**: Java Angular Developer **Role Summary**: Develop and evolve strategic software solutions for a leading insurance provider. Lead analysis, specification, architecture, and implementation of new features across Java EE and Angular platforms, ensuring high quality and zero defects while actively supporting the team and participating in steering meetings. **Expectations**: - Self‑motivated, autonomous, and adaptable to changing requirements. - Strong communication and synthesis skills for clear documentation and stakeholder engagement. - Ability to propose innovative solutions and work collaboratively within a cross‑functional team. **Key Responsibilities**: - Gather and analyze business requirements; produce technical specifications and architecture designs. - Develop and maintain Java (JEE) and Angular components, integrating RESTful APIs and SQL back‑ends. - Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment. - Mentor junior developers, review code, and contribute to codebase health. - Participate in project planning, status reviews, and steering committee meetings. **Required Skills**: - 6–10 years of professional experience in Java (JEE, Spring Boot, Quarkus) and Angular development. - Expertise with REST API design, SQL, and database integration. - Proficient with source control (Git), issue tracking (Jira), CI/CD (Jenkins), monitoring (Kibana), and API testing tools. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French language proficiency is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Java SE, Spring, Angular) are an advantage but not mandatory.
