Job Description: **Job title** Catenary Procurement Manager (Buyer) **Role Summary** Lead strategic and project procurement for catenary infrastructure. Manage the full procurement cycle, drive cost efficiency, ensure schedule alignment, and maintain supplier quality while supporting cross‑functional projects. **Expectations** - Deliver value‑add procurement solutions within budget and timeline. - Maintain compliance with corporate procurement policy and sustainability goals. - Provide clear, data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Participate in project cost estimation to improve business case quality. 2. Gather internal requirements, assist prescribers in defining needs. 3. Own project procurement for the catenary portfolio: issue RFPs, lead negotiations, draft orders/agreements, monitor order status. 4. Track purchase schedules and supply‑budget adherence. 5. Develop roadmap and action plans to meet departmental performance targets. 6. Execute strategic procurement across Colas Rail projects in France: build route maps, define action plans (data consolidation, spend analysis, supplier mapping, framework contracts). 7. Build market expertise on material families, identify optimal sourcing models, qualification criteria, and value‑creation opportunities. 8. Coordinate weekly with Mureaux agency and other family buyers on multi‑lot projects (track, equipment, etc.). **Required Skills** - Mastery of end‑to‑end procurement process (RFP, negotiation, contract, order, delivery). - Strong analytical, project management, and planning abilities. - Excellent negotiation and stakeholder communication. - Proficiency in English (written & spoken). - Familiarity with sustainability and ESG considerations in procurement. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s +5 (Master II) in Engineering, Business School, or University, specialized in Procurement or Supply Chain. - Minimum 3 years of procurement project experience, preferably in rail or infrastructure. - Knowledge of catenary product families is highly desirable. ---
