**Job title** Associate Software Engineer **Role Summary** Junior engineer responsible for building and deploying production features that directly influence revenue. Owns critical infrastructure components, designs and runs A/B tests, collaborates across the full technology stack, and makes data‑driven decisions impacting millions of users. **Expactations** - Deliver robust, scalable code with rigorous peer review. - Own end‑to‑end lifecycle of new features from design to deployment. - Use experimentation and analytics to influence product direction. - Rapidly learn and apply new technologies. - Maintain high standards of code quality, system design, and documentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, test, and deploy high‑performance software features. - Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code. - Configure CI/CD pipelines and contribute to release engineering. - Conduct A/B tests, analyze results, and provide actionable insights. - Troubleshoot and optimize system performance and scalability. - Collaborate with frontend, backend, data engineering, ML, and infrastructure teams. - Participate in architecture discussions and system design reviews. - Mentor peers and contribute to engineering culture and best practices. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Go, Python, or similar). - Experience with full‑stack development, including RESTful APIs and modern web frameworks. - Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Ability to write production‑ready code with comprehensive unit and integration tests. - Analytical mindset for designing experiments and interpreting data. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required.
