Job Description
Job Title: Security Account Manager Role Summary: Lead and manage security operations for assigned client accounts, integrating physical and electronic security systems. Oversee a team of 10+ security personnel, ensuring compliance with policies, training, and incident response. Act as a field supervisor and internal liaison for policy development and vendor management. Expectations: - Minimum 2 years of proven security account management experience with supervisory responsibility over at least 10 staff. - Extensive knowledge of physical security, electronic surveillance, and visitor management systems. - Demonstrated ability to conduct training, performance counseling, and terminations. - Excellent interpersonal communication, persuasive leadership style, and high emotional intelligence. - Outstanding physical fitness and professional appearance suitable for military or law‑enforcement background. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs. - Schedule shifts, conduct performance reviews, and manage personnel matters (hiring, counseling, terminations). - Oversee camera monitoring, patrol operations, and response to criminal intrusions. - Coordinate visitor, vendor, and guest access protocols. - Serve as field security officer under stressful and physically demanding conditions. - Prepare detailed reports and present findings to client stakeholders. - Maintain incident logs, conduct investigations, and coordinate with law enforcement. Required Skills: - Supervisory and leadership experience in security or law enforcement. - Expertise in security technologies (CCTV, access control, visitor management). - Strong administrative and documentation skills. - Physical fitness capable of leading by example. - Superior communication, articulation, and critical‑thinking skills. Required Education & Certifications: - California Department of Security Guard Card (or equivalent state security license). - Valid U.S. driver’s license. - U.S. citizenship or permanent residency. - Background verification and employment screening cleared. - Honorably discharged military service preferred.
