Job Description

Job title: Software Engineer – Industrial Applications Role Summary: Develop, maintain, and enhance industrial software solutions, including ERP systems, real‑time applications, and web-based production monitoring. Collaborate with automation experts to ensure seamless integration between software and plant control systems. Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues across the software lifecycle. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality code that meets real‑time performance and reliability standards. - Participate in cross‑functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and validate functionality. - Offer ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, and iterative improvements for deployed applications. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze current embedment software workflows and identify opportunities for improvement. - Design, develop, and maintain industrial ERP applications using C++ and Python. - Integrate web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs) for production monitoring dashboards. - Coordinate with automation engineers to ensure interoperability of software with PLCs and other control devices. - Deploy and support new features, including phased roll‑outs and post‑deployment testing. - Provide corrective and evolutionary maintenance, including performance tuning and security hardening. Required Skills: - Proficiency in C++ and Python. - Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST API). - Experience with industrial software development: real‑time systems, PLC communication, database integration. - Understanding of industrial safety and secure coding practices. - Optional: Image processing and basic computer vision concepts. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree in Industrial Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent. - Relevant certifications in C++/Python or industrial automation (e.g., PLC programming, SCADA) are advantageous.
