**Job title**
Senior Cloud Architect / Site Reliability Engineer (Python)
**Role Summary**
Lead the design, operation, and evolution of the company’s cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Cloudflare, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Build and maintain internal automation tools in Python, manage IT service, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and incident management.
**Expectations**
* 7+ years in cloud or SRE/DevOps roles (fintech, SaaS, scale‑ups, critical infra).
* Deep expertise in GCP, Cloudflare, and modern cloud architecture principles.
* Proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain Python automation (FastAPI, scripts, CI/CD).
* Strong CI/CD, GitLab, and security, secret management experience.
* Architecture vision coupled with hands‑on engineering execution.
* Proactive, collaborative, and eager to mentor teammates.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Maintain and scale GCP services (serverless, compute, networking) and Cloudflare configurations for availability, performance, and security.
2. Develop, test, and optimize Python automation for critical processes: deployments, certificate management, secrets, and operations.
3. Administer ITSM/ITOM/ITAM tools to enhance operational quality and service management.
4. Design and expose technical interfaces for AI agents via MCP.
5. Continuously improve deployment practices, monitoring, observability, and incident response.
6. Partner with CTO and technical teams to prioritize initiatives, assess risks, and shape the technology roadmap.
7. Conduct technology watch on GCP, Cloudflare, SRE/DevOps best practices, and Python frameworks.
8. Drive process optimization, workflow enhancements, and knowledge sharing.
9. Document systems, processes, and architectural decisions to reduce single‑person dependencies.

* Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, BigQuery, IAM, Security Center)
* Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, CDN, Load Balancer)
* Python (scripts, FastAPI, API integration)
* CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
* Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Build, Deployment Manager)
* Monitoring/Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging)
* Incident management, SRE principles, alerting strategies
* Secret management (Vault, Secret Manager)
* Security fundamentals (VPC, firewall, IAM, encryption)
* ITSM/ITOM/ITAM concepts (ServiceNow, GLACIER, SCCM)
* Strong communication, mentoring, and documentation skills
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor's or Master’s (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Certifications preferred: GCP Professional Cloud Architect, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloudflare Certificate, SRE/DevOps certifications.
* Self‑taught professionals with comparable experience are welcome.
