About the Company

Drake's was founded by Michael Drake in 1977 in London's East End, a stone's throw away from London's silk weaving roots in Spitalfields and our current home on Haberdasher Street. Today stewarded by Creative Director Michaell Hill, the Drake's aesthetic represents not so much fashion as style, taste, and quality. Drake's produces timeless, wearable menswear which draws from Britain's rich tailoring tradition, using only original make processes and the highest quality materials available. This includes hand-making our own ties, scarves and pocket squares at our London headquarters and our shirts at our own factory in Chard, Somerset. We have two stores in the heart of London and one in New York, and we are stocked in over 200 retailers world-wide.
