Job Description
**Job Title** API Integration Developer (Mulesoft) **Role Summary** Design, develop, and implement API integration solutions using Mulesoft and related technologies (Splunk, Datadog, AWS). Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable APIs that align with business objectives. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end Mulesoft integration solutions that meet technical and business requirements. - Participate in continuous improvement of integration architecture and performance. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. - Communicate effectively in English with stakeholders and external partners. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and configure Mulesoft APIs, implementing DataWeave transformations, Java, JavaScript, and Python logic. - Integrate micro‑services and backend systems using RESTful APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases. - Apply security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption) to protect data in transit and at rest. - Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools, ensuring repeatable builds and quick releases. - Conduct unit, integration, and performance tests; troubleshoot and resolve defects. - Work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Technical Leads to refine requirements and design solutions. - Document architecture, configuration, and testing outcomes for audit and maintenance. - Support production incidents, providing root‑cause analysis and preventive measures. **Required Skills** - Deep knowledge of Mulesoft Anypoint Platform (API Designer, Design Center, Runtime Manager). - Proficient in DataWeave, Java, JavaScript, and Python for API development. - Experience with RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation. - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB). - Strong grasp of API security concepts (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, encryption). - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Problem‑solving ability for complex integration scenarios. - Excellent written and spoken English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s (Bac+3) or Master’s (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Mulesoft Certified Developer (or equivalent API integration certification) is preferred.
