**Job title** Business Development Manager **Role Summary** Lead high‑value corporate fundraising for a national non‑profit leisure facility launching in 2026. Build and nurture partnerships aligned to CSR and ESG, manage a pipeline of five‑ to seven‑figure prospects, and deliver both monetary and pro‑bono support to meet a £500k income target and £600k GIK contributions. **Expectations** - Achieve annual financial targets tied to the 2026 launch. - Secure, grow and manage strategic corporate relationships from £25k to multi‑hundred‑k. - Deliver measurable impact for children and young people with disabilities. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute a corporate partnership strategy targeting C‑suite, CSR and ESG decision‑makers. - Build a research‑driven pipeline of prospects (five‑, six‑, seven‑figure, Charity‑of‑the‑Year). - Create compelling proposals, presentations and impact case studies for corporate engagement. - Line‑manage two fundraising colleagues, providing coaching and performance oversight. - Partner with senior leadership on commercial and strategic initiatives. - Monitor and report on partnership performance against income and GIK targets. **Required Skills** - Proven success in securing five‑ to seven‑figure corporate relationships. - Strong communication (written & verbal) with ability to translate complex impact data. - Leadership experience with a supportive, development‑focused approach. - Excellent organisational and time‑management skills under pressure. - Commercial acumen and understanding of corporate partnership decision‑making. - Self‑motivated, confident, and able to work independently and collaboratively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fundraising or related field (preferred). - No specific certifications required; relevant professional development preferred.
