Job Title: Sales Enablement & Operations Manager
Role Summary:
Lead continuous improvement of sales processes, account planning, and pipeline management across a B2B energy‑as‑service organization. Partner with sales, finance, marketing, legal, and product teams to optimize the customer journey from lead to close and support sales enablement initiatives.
Expectations:
Deliver measurable efficiencies in sales workflow, forecast accuracy, and onboarding effectiveness. Drive cross‑functional alignment, maintain high data quality in the CRM, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map, document, and continuously improve end‑to‑end sales workflows; author SOPs and playbooks.
- Own lead‑to‑close processes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and resource optimization.
- Champion account planning: coordinate cross‑functional next steps, track needs, and influence success metrics.
- Manage pipeline health: implement CRM best practices, forecast accuracy, and standardized review cadence.
- Conduct regular pipeline review sessions with sales leaders; surface trends, gaps, and conversion drivers.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement leader to design and execute onboarding, training, and skill‑development programs.
- Maintain a centralized enablement library; keep content current and accessible.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives with marketing, product, and operations to align sales strategies with business goals.
- Serve as change agent for process and adoption initiatives across sales teams.
- Perform ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to inform strategy and operational decisions.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in sales operations, sales management, or B2B sales enablement.
- Expertise in account planning methods and pipeline management.
- Strong process improvement background (Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and leadership abilities.
- Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and data‑analysis skills.
- Project management competency with proven track record of delivering cross‑functional initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline.
- Preferred certifications: Six Sigma (Green/Black), Salesforce Administrator, or Project Management Professional (PMP).
