Job Description

Job Title: Broker Intern Role Summary: Assists commercial real estate brokers with property research, data entry, and administrative tasks to support daily brokerage operations. Expectations: - Deliver accurate and timely research and data updates. - Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards. - Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills and proactively seek guidance when needed. Key Responsibilities: - Update and maintain listings in KM Connect database. - Maintain team databases (REA) and broker spreadsheets/documents. - Conduct property research using CoStar, LoopNet, LandVision, and other online resources. - Prepare and edit Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and mailings. - Perform additional duties/projects as requested by supervisors. Required Skills: - Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. - Strong internet research skills; experienced with CoStar, LoopNet, KM Connect, LandVision, Google Maps/Earth. - Excellent written and verbal communication in English. - Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. - Self‑motivated with high initiative and initiative‑driven problem solving. - Ability to learn new internal software systems quickly. Required Education & Certifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred but not mandatory. - 1‑year relevant experience or equivalent experience in a related field. - Commercial real estate knowledge or terms advantageous but not required.
