Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager Role Summary: Manage early‑stage R&D projects from initiation through completion, coordinating cross‑functional teams (Automation, IT, scientific) to ensure timely delivery, scope adherence, and alignment with portfolio objectives. Expactations: Deliver project plans, schedules, and estimations; maintain project governance and documentation; continuously improve workflows using Lean Six Sigma; provide clear status updates and dashboards; manage risks and resource allocation; foster collaboration and decision‑making across disciplines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, cost/benefit models, and risk registers. - Coordinate cross‑functional meetings to gather inputs, validate technical assumptions, and drive decisions. - Track progress against KPIs, prepare regular status reports, and update dashboards. - Lead process‑improvement initiatives in lab environments using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. - Facilitate resource planning, assign tasks, and monitor capacity. - Ensure PMO governance compliance, maintain project documentation, and archive lessons learned. - Align project outcomes with broader portfolio goals and strategic objectives. Required Skills: - 5+ years of project management or related experience in technical or R&D settings. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software. - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and workflow optimization. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
