**Job Title:** Senior Java Developer (Tech Lead) **Role Summary:** Provide technical leadership and hands‑on development for scalable backend services and APIs, mentor Java developers, drive quality through automation, ensure high performance and reliability, and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. **Expectations:** Deliver robust, secure, high‑traffic services; lead the team in agile practices; maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing; provide 2nd‑line technical support; communicate solutions clearly to business partners. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, mentor, and support a team of Java developers. - Design, build, and maintain internal and external APIs. - Develop automated test suites and contribute to CI/CD and continuous deployment pipelines. - Provide 2nd‑line technical support for key platforms and applications. - Deliver and enhance server‑side web applications and backend services. - Communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. - Perform system administration and configuration management tasks. - Process large datasets, ensuring robust, scalable storage and processing. - Build and support high‑traffic web applications with strong architectural practices. - Drive improvements in performance, stability, and scalability. **Required Skills:** - Strong Java development experience; proven leadership in development or technical lead roles. - Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems and automated testing frameworks. - Expertise in API design, backend services, and system integration. - Experience with system administration and configuration management. - Strong understanding of scalable architectures and high‑traffic environments. - Comfortable working with Unix‑like operating systems (Linux, macOS). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with non‑technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred but not mandatory; professional certifications (e.g., Java SE, AWS, Azure, Certified ScrumMaster) are not required.
