Job Description
Job title Human Resources Business Partner Role Summary Provide HR expertise and strategic partnership for a 12‑month maternity cover, overseeing onboarding, performance management, policy development, and employee lifecycle support while supervising a People & Culture Assistant and collaborating across functions to strengthen culture and employee experience. Expectations - Deliver strategic HR guidance to senior leaders and staff - Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives - Manage complex employee relations with discretion - Design and implement HR tools, data analytics, and process improvements - Partner on compensation, performance, training, and well‑being programs - Organise team‑building and engagement activities - Support L&D strategy and continuous improvement culture Key Responsibilities - Lead end‑to‑end HR processes (onboarding, performance reviews, policy updates) - Provide consultative support to managers on recruitment and people management - Supervise and coach a People & Culture Assistant to ensure efficient daily operations - Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration on culture‑strengthening initiatives - Handle sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality - Develop and deploy HR analytics dashboards to inform decision‑making - Drive company‑wide programmes – compensation reviews, performance management, training, wellbeing, DE&I - Organise and lead team‑building and engagement events - Support learning & development planning and execution - Promote a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and high employee satisfaction Required Skills - Proven ability to apply HR processes and systems in complex environments - Strong communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills - Understanding of behavioural psychology and employee motivation - Analytical mindset with experience in HR data and analytics - Ability to design and implement HR tools and processes - Proactive, experimental, and collaborative approach - Experience leading and developing teams and working cross‑functionally Required Education & Certifications - CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent HR experience.
