**Job Title:** Human Resources Business Partner **Role Summary:** Act as a strategic partner to mid‑level and senior leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of people programs that drive employee engagement, performance, and retention while ensuring legal and compliance standards are met. **Expectations:** - Partner with leadership to translate business strategy into effective HR solutions. - Deliver data‑driven insights and actionable recommendations. - Educate managers on people management and employee life‑cycle processes. - Resolve complex employee relations issues in a timely, compliant manner. - Champion a culture of engagement and high performance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement HR processes supporting strategic growth. - Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance (coaching, career development, disciplinary actions). - Design and execute people strategies for organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction. - Analyze HR metrics and develop initiatives, policies, and programs. - Own end‑to‑end core HR programs: performance reviews, calibration, compensation cycle, engagement surveys, reporting. - Mentor managers to improve people management skills. - Resolve complex employee relations and liaise with legal on compliance. - Draft contract terms for hires, promotions, and transfers. - Advise on workforce planning, succession planning, and restructures. - Identify training needs, partner with training teams, and evaluate program effectiveness. **Required Skills:** - Strategic HR partnership and Business Literacy - Performance Management and Coaching - Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution - Change Management and Program Ownership - HR Data Analysis and Insight Communication - Knowledge of Compensation, Diversity, and Employment Law - HRIS Administration (Oracle preferred) - Strong Written and Verbal Communication - Customer‑focused Interpersonal Skills - Project Management and Multitasking in Fast‑paced Environments - Creative Problem‑solving and Independent Decision Making **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (preferred) - SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) (preferred) - Minimum 4 years of experience in complex employee relations (retail industry preferred)
