**Job Title**
Manual Test Analyst (ERP & ETL)
**Role Summary**
Deliver comprehensive functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for ERP, digital transformation, and technical projects. Coordinate test planning, execution, defect management, and user acceptance activities in a cross‑functional PM environment supporting UK/US teams.
**Expectations**
- Produce accurate test plans, scenarios, and scripts that meet project scope and timelines.
- Manage end‑to‑end defect lifecycle and provide clear, actionable metrics.
- Act as a testing champion, advising on automation suitability and process improvements.
- Lead Go‑Live support, including cutover, data migration validation, user training, and post‑implementation assistance.
- Communicate complex testing concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and coach them through testing processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with project leads and business stakeholders to prioritise and document test scenarios, cases, and schedules.
- Create and maintain test artifacts (plans, scenarios, case scripts) aligned with project methodologies (waterfall, iterative, Scrum).
- Execute manual functional, integration, non‑functional, and regression tests across ERP and API layers (Postman/SOAPUI).
- Conduct ETL testing: validate extraction, transformation, and loading between legacy systems and ERP platforms using tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Azure Data Factory.
- Validate data migration accuracy for Syteline, SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics environments.
- Facilitate Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions to validate business processes and system functionality.
- Manage User Acceptance Testing: coordinate participants, schedule execution, log defects, and produce final test reports.
- Provide continuous test metrics, trend analysis, and recommendations for testing improvements.
- Support release documentation: create release notes and user manuals to aid deployment and training.
- Drive adoption of automated testing where appropriate and guide teams on automation strategy.
- Liaise with internal functions and third‑party vendors to coordinate testing activities and resolve dependencies.
**Required Skills**
- Proven manual test analyst experience with end‑to‑end project delivery and Go‑Live exposure.
- Hands‑on ETL testing knowledge and experience with Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience validating ERP data migration (Syteline, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, with ability to design and execute detailed test scripts.
- API testing proficiency using Postman or SOAPUI.
- Active participation in Scrum teams; ability to write concise test scenarios and collaborate with Agile ceremonies.
- Familiarity with CRP collaboration and user training.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong defect management and reporting skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is required.
