Manager, Global Security
**Role Summary**
Lead and oversee all transportation and physical security functions for a multinational logistics organization. Develop and execute security strategies for air, ocean, rail, and road networks; manage high‑value shipment protection, physical security of offices and warehouses, and client‑specific security audits and compliance. Act as subject‑matter expert on regulatory requirements (TSA, CTPAT, TAPA) and partner with internal stakeholders and service providers to enforce security standards and incident response protocols.
**Expectations**
- Design, implement, and continually improve global security programs that meet or exceed regulatory, industry, and client standards.
- Deliver measurable risk mitigation and cost‑effective solutions for high‑value and high‑risk transportation services.
- Maintain strong communication with leaders across business units, customers, and auditors to ensure consistent security governance.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute global transportation security plans aligned with TSA, CTPAT, TAPA, and other relevant regulations.
- Define and enforce security standards for high‑risk and high‑value customer segments (e.g., electronics, luxury goods).
- Manage security planning and execution for High‑Value (HV) transport services, focusing on risk mitigation and operational visibility.
- Monitor and assess security risks throughout transportation life cycle, including first‑ and last‑mile operations.
- Lead incident response for theft, loss, or damage in transit.
- Oversee global physical security programs: access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, visitor management.
- Conduct site assessments, audits, and ensure compliance with company policy and local regulations.
- Serve as SME for customer‑driven security audits, RFPs, and compliance reviews.
- Coordinate with service providers and internal stakeholders to enforce security standards and contractual requirements.
- Implement standardized physical security designs for existing and new facilities, warehouses, and offices.
**Required Skills**
- 10+ years of global security experience (transportation & physical security).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerBI.
- Strong leadership, team‑building, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Deep understanding of security technologies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Logistics, Business).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISM, CSX, TAC, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.
