**Job title:** IT Engineer **Role Summary:** An automation-focused engineer that bridges IT operations and AI innovation. Designs, deploys, and maintains AI agents and low‑code workflows to eliminate manual friction, improve accuracy, and scale team productivity across business and IT functions. **Expectations:** - Deliver end‑to‑end AI automation solutions that reduce operational bottlenecks and drive measurable business impact. - Champion AI and automation adoption through demos, documentation, and culture building. - Continuously research and incorporate emerging SaaS, security, and AI technologies into the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deploy AI agents and copilots (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) integrated into Slack, ticketing systems, or custom UIs for IT and business users. - Build and maintain low‑code and full‑code agentic workflows that automate manual processes and increase productivity. - Analyze operational and support data to identify and prioritize automation opportunities; own the delivery from ideation to production. - Manage a living library of knowledge‑base articles, self‑service flows, and reusable function modules to enable autonomous user support. - Conduct internal demos, share success stories, and cultivate a self‑service, autonomous culture across the organization. - Present quarterly briefings to leadership on emerging trends, new tools, and opportunities for continuous innovation. - Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to understand workflow pain points and co‑create tailored autonomous solutions. **Required Skills:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 3+ years in IT operations, automation, or engineering within a high‑growth SaaS environment. - Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby scripting; comfortable working with REST and GraphQL APIs. - Hands‑on experience with low‑code platforms, "vibe‑coding," and full‑code development. - Strong analytical skills to uncover automation opportunities from data. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging to technical and non‑technical audiences. - Demonstrated willingness to learn, experiment, and ship minimum viable products rapidly. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
