Job Description: **Job Title** Fullstack Developer – Ruby on Rails / React.JS (F/M) **Role Summary** Develop, maintain, and evolve the “Captain Contrat” application in a tight collaboration with Product and Engineering teams. Lead backend development in Ruby on Rails, contribute to architecture decisions, and build a responsive React/Redux front‑end. Ensure code quality, test coverage, and continuous integration/deployment across Heroku and AWS environments. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years of formal engineering or computer science education. - At least 2 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails in a team setting. - Autonomy, strong coding discipline, and proactive identification of technical improvements. - Ability to influence product‑oriented technical choices. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and refactor backend services using Ruby on Rails. - Write comprehensive unit, integration, and test‑suite code with RSpec. - Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions. - Review code quality with CodeClimate and enforce best practices. - Build and maintain a React/Redux front‑end; apply unit and component tests using Vitest. - Deploy and monitor applications on Heroku and AWS. - Participate actively in Kanban cycles, backlog grooming, and sprint planning on GitHub. - Collaborate with Product to translate business requirements into technical solutions. **Required Skills** - Proficient in Ruby, Rails, RESTful APIs, and relational databases. - Strong grasp of JavaScript, React, Redux, and modern front‑end tooling. - Experience with Git, GitHub flow, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with RSpec, Vitest, and automated testing frameworks. - Knowledge of containerization and cloud deployment on Heroku, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). - Understanding of code quality analysis tools like CodeClimate. - Agile mindset: Kanban/Scrum, continuous improvement. - Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - (Optional) Relevant certifications in Ruby on Rails or cloud platforms enhance candidacy.
