Job Description
**Job Title:** HRIS Analyst Internship – Summer 2026 **Role Summary:** A 12‑week full‑time internship focused on supporting and optimizing a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The intern will maintain data integrity, generate workforce analytics, troubleshoot user issues, develop training resources, and assist with system upgrades and data migration projects. **Expectations:** - Enrolled full‑time in a bachelor’s program (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field). - Complete at least 10 of 12 weeks. - Prioritize workplace safety and confidentiality of employee data. - Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professional communication. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain and update HRIS platform ensuring accurate, compliant data. - Input, validate, and audit employee records; perform data cleanup tasks. - Generate reports on headcount, turnover, workforce demographics, and other metrics for HR analytics. - Provide first‑line support to HR staff and other users—troubleshoot issues and answer system‑related questions. - Collaborate with HR to identify process gaps and recommend HRIS‑based improvements. - Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, new module deployments, and data migrations. - Create and refine training materials and user guides to increase HRIS proficiency. - Uphold data protection and confidentiality policies at all times. **Required Skills:** - Basic HRIS or ERP experience (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM). - Strong data management and analytical skills; ability to spot trends and errors. - Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, report generation, and data visualization tools. - Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users. - Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail. - Team orientation and willingness to collaborate across departments. - Awareness of HR laws and confidentiality requirements is advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current, full‑time enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. - No specific certifications required (e.g., HCM‑S, HRIS certifications considered a plus).
