**Job Title**
Application Production Support
**Role Summary**
Provide technical and functional support for enterprise applications, ensuring operational stability, smooth execution of batch and integration processes, and effective release management. Act as the primary point of contact for incident resolution and proactive service improvement, collaborating closely with ITOps on production and infrastructure requirements.
**Expectations**
- Deliver on‐call support and incident response, restoring service promptly.
- Maintain and upgrade application documentation and operating procedures.
- Perform continuous performance analysis and implement automation for quality enhancement.
- Coordinate and execute releases within the assigned scope.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, focusing on results and customer satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Investigate and resolve technical and functional incidents; ticket triage and escalation.
2. Manage release cycles: build, test, deploy, and verify updates.
3. Maintain and enrich application knowledge base and SOP documentation.
4. Monitor batch jobs, data transfers, and system logs; trigger alerts and remedial actions.
5. Conduct performance measurement (metrics, dashboards) and recommend optimizations.
6. Automate repetitive tasks using CA Scheduler, Ansible, scripting, or other tooling.
7. Liaise with ITOps on infrastructure health, high‑availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
8. Coordinate and prioritize functional enhancement requests; translate business needs into technical specifications.
9. Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, security policies, and GDPR/ISO requirements.
**Required Skills**
- 2–3 years of production support experience.
- Proficient with CA Scheduler, AXWAY Transfer, CFT, ServiceNow, Dynatrace.
- Strong Linux OS fundamentals, shell scripting (bash, python).
- Middleware knowledge: MQ, Nginx, Ansible, SpringBoot/Java troubleshooting, API management.
- Familiarity with resilience concepts: DRP, BCP, HA.
- ITIL framework understanding.
- Business acumen in the applied domain; ability to interpret functional business requirements.
- English fluency (good); French and Dutch optional.
- SLA‑driven mindset, customer orientation, teamwork, results orientation.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications (preferred but not mandatory): ITIL Foundation, CA ORCA, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or equivalent.
