Job Description: Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain high‑performance production services, websites, and cross‑platform SDKs that enable global payment capabilities using Bitcoin and Lightning technologies. Expectations: - 2+ years experience as a full‑stack or backend engineer. - Strong proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React. - Ability to learn and work with additional languages (Kotlin, React Native). - Demonstrated capacity to deliver quality code on tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and scale backend services and APIs for payment workflows. - Build, test, document, and release platform‑agnostic SDKs (JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Kotlin, etc.). - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and partner teams to define feature specifications and ensure integration readiness. - Contribute to system architecture, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability. - Maintain high engineering standards: unit, integration, and E2E testing; code reviews; automated documentation. - Support and evolve existing infrastructure, troubleshooting high‑volume production issues. Required Skills: - Backend development: Python, Go, or equivalent; RESTful API design. - Full‑stack/frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript. - SDK and developer‑tooling experience (API frameworks, code generation, publish‑release pipelines). - Mobile SDK familiarity (React Native, Kotlin) is a plus. - Experience with crypto‑fintech concepts (Bitcoin, Lightning) is desirable but not mandatory. - Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong problem‑solving, independence, and collaborative mindset.
