Job title: IT Systems Analyst
Role Summary: Provide second‑level support and maintain the internal IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability and security of Windows, VMware ESXi, Ubuntu Linux, Azure, and M365 environments. Manage networking, firewall, VPN, switch, SIP trunk, RMM, asset, and backup systems while keeping technical documentation current.
Expactations: Deliver responsive support to global users, maintain high uptime standards, implement and update security policies, de‑isolate incidents, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for internal users.
- Maintain Windows Server, VMware ESXi hosts, Ubuntu Linux servers, and associated virtual machines.
- Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 services, including user provisioning and security settings.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPN connections, and network switches.
- Oversee SIP trunk configuration and maintenance of internal communications.
- Support and develop Remote Monitoring Management (RMM) for remote control, software deployment, and updates.
- Manage asset inventory, asset lifecycle and procurement.
- Administer cloud‑based backup solutions and validate backup integrity.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, runbooks, and change management records.
- Contribute to the creation and enforcement of internal security policies and incident response procedures.
- Participate in time‑sensitive projects and meet organizational SLAs.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, VMware ESXi, and Ubuntu Linux.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365) and Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, VLANs, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
- Understanding of firewall management, SIP trunking, and VoIP.
- Familiarity with RMM tools for remote monitoring and software deployment.
- Experience in backup management, especially cloud‑based solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Initiative, independence, and a continuous learning mindset.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience with Office 365 and Azure administration.
- Networking and cybersecurity experience preferred.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified) are desirable.
