Job title: Product Owner – Data & AI
Role Summary: Own the strategic vision, governance, and execution of a modern cloud-based data platform. Align the platform’s product roadmap with business objectives, drive migration from legacy systems to a modern data stack, and unlock value through analytics and AI use cases. Operate as a cross‑functional orchestrator between data, IT, digital, and business stakeholders to ensure value delivery and data quality.
Expectations:
• 7+ years leading data product or project initiatives in consulting, data office, or similar environment.
• Proven experience managing large‑scale data migrations in hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) environments.
• Strong command of ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion, governance, quality, and AI model lifecycle.
• Ability to define and prioritize product backlogs, roadmaps, and value frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Define, promote, and track the product vision for the data platform.
– Maintain and prioritize the product backlog (ingestion, transformation, exposure, quality, AI).
– Build and monitor a comprehensive roadmap covering run, migration, and rationalization phases.
– Coordinate with leads in Data Analysis, Data Science, and Data Governance to ensure initiative coherence and value alignment.
– Map legacy data architecture, assess dependencies and risks, and lead migration to a cloud‑managed modern data stack.
– Ensure service continuity and data quality throughout transitions.
– Gather business requirements, translate into actionable use cases, and evaluate them using a framework of value, complexity, adoption, cost, and feasibility.
– Champion portfolio of analytics, AI, predictive, optimization, and automation projects.
Required Skills:
• Strategic product ownership and backlog management.
• Deep knowledge of hybrid data environments, cloud services, and modern data stack components (e.g., Aurora, Athena, serverless orchestration).
• Proficiency in data pipeline design, ETL/ELT, ingestion, governance, and data quality practices.
• Experience with complex data migration projects.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation skills.
• Leadership and influence across multi‑disciplinary teams.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (equivalent to Bac+5) from an engineering, computer science, or related program.
• Relevant certifications in data engineering, data science, or product management are advantageous.
• Knowledge of banking sector compliance and data regulations is a plus.
