Job Description
Job Title: ServiceNow Developer Role Summary: Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions under guidance from senior staff. Focus on workflow design, integration, and platform stability while ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices. Expectations: - Work in a hybrid setting, attending office days and remote working as scheduled. - Participate in periodic travel for team meetings (no specific location). - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, provide prompt customer support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Actively engage in platform upgrades, health scans, and minor bug fixes. Key Responsibilities: - Build and configure ServiceNow features: forms, tables, catalog items, record producers, notifications, and UI policies. - Modify existing and create new workflows using Flow Designer and scripting. - Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party applications. - Verify that implementations meet ITIL standards and ServiceNow best practices. - Support platform upgrades: smoke testing, minor fixes, and Health Scan remediation. - Document solutions, update knowledge articles, and maintain runbooks. - Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Required Skills: - ServiceNow Configuration and Scripting (Flow Designer, UI Policies, Client Scripts). - Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices. - Familiarity with CMDB/CSDM and basic JavaScript/Glide API. - Ability to troubleshoot, analyze data, and resolve incidents. - Strong verbal and written communication; excellent customer‑service orientation. - Team collaboration, adaptability to changing priorities, and independent problem‑solving. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – required. - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – preferred. - Additional micro‑certifications in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, or ITSM are a plus.
