Job Description

**Job Title** Computer Vision Engineer **Role Summary** Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end computer vision architectures for UAV, robotics, and ADAS applications. Drive integration of deep learning algorithms with multi‑modal sensor ecosystems, optimise edge‑device inference, and align software solutions with hardware capabilities. **Expectations** - Deliver scalable, modular vision systems that meet real‑time performance goals. - Translate research advances into production‑ready components. - Mentor cross‑functional teams and facilitate knowledge transfer. - Ensure solutions comply with industry safety and reliability standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead incorporation of advanced DL/CV algorithms into system architecture. - Design clear, scalable software architectures for vision systems. - Develop hardware utilisation strategies; collaborate with hardware teams on acceleration (OpenCL, CUDA, etc.). - Architect edge‑computing solutions, addressing latency and resource constraints. - Integrate multiple sensor modalities (camera, radar, inertial, GPS) for robust SLAM and obstacle‑avoidance. - Define and uphold software best practices and architecture principles. - Disseminate findings through publications or technical presentations. **Required Skills** - Deep expertise in computer vision and deep learning (CNNs, Transformers, etc.). - Proven experience in Visual Inertial SLAM and multi‑modal fusion. - Hands‑on edge‑device deployment (embedded systems, GPU/FPGA) and optimisation (quantisation, pruning). - Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 and real‑time operating systems. - Strong knowledge of hardware acceleration frameworks (OpenCL, CUDA). - Excellent leadership, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field. - Relevant certifications in machine learning, embedded systems, or software architecture are advantageous.
