Job Description
**Job Title** Engineering Intern – Summer 2026 **Role Summary** Assisted design and documentation support for building systems across multiple sectors including venue, retail, health, grocery, community, and business. Performs basic engineering calculations, creates layout drawings, and contributes to project reports under the guidance of senior engineers. **Expectations** - Complete internship term: June 8 – August 7 2026. - Prioritize one or more sectors of interest for project assignment. - Engage in learning opportunities, ask questions, and maintain professional conduct. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform basic calculations and preliminary design of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building system components. - Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and reports using industry CAD/BIM tools. - Review and adjust existing plans and specifications under supervision. - Organize, file, and maintain project documentation and reference materials. - Assist in selection of equipment, materials, and vendors in coordination with senior staff. - Attend project meetings and contribute to design discussions. **Required Skills** - Fundamental knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life‑Safety). - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM software. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, or related engineering field. - Minimum of 60 semester credits completed (at least 2 years of study). - No specific certifications required; willingness to learn and adhere to industry standards.

Job Title: HBS Commissioning Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level internship focused on building system commissioning. Interns support commissioning activities, learn building codes and standards, and contribute to project documentation and coordination across disciplines.
