**Job title:** VP of Catering Sales & Development
**Role Summary:** Senior executive responsible for driving top-line revenue across all catering segments—including drop‑off catering, corporate accounts, events, and emerging verticals—while leading a small high‑performance sales team and forging strategic partnerships with key high‑value clients.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver on annual revenue targets, including base salary, bonus, and commission structure.
- Scale outbound and inbound sales pipelines, diversifying client portfolio across corporate, creative agency, fashion/beauty, media, and brand partners.
- Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and profit margin protection.
- Exhibit strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship of sales staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy across all catering segments.
2. Design outbound programs and identify new verticals, partnerships, and markets aligned with brand positioning.
3. Forecast revenue, maintain pipeline health, and report performance metrics to ownership.
4. Manage relationships with high‑volume clients, leading proposals, tastings, negotiations, and strategic engagements.
5. Lead, mentor, and set KPIs for sales team (Event Managers and Coordinators).
6. Oversee revenue‑focused marketing initiatives, brand messaging, and industry representation.
7. Own CRM and pipeline accuracy; collaborate with Operations, Kitchen, and other functions to align capacity and guest experience.
8. Continuously refine SOPs, sales processes, and communication flows for scalability.
**Required Skills:**
- 7–12+ years in catering, hospitality, or event sales with a proven record in outbound sales and high‑value account acquisition.
- Strong financial acumen: forecasting, pricing strategy, and margin protection.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills at C‑suite level.
- Leadership and coaching experience for a small, high‑touch sales team.
- Proficiency with CRM and catering management tools (e.g., Tripleseat).
- System‑oriented, organized, and proactive, thriving in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- No specific certifications required, but industry knowledge in catering, event management, or luxury brand services is essential.
