Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer
Role Summary: Senior executive responsible for building and scaling all marketing functions—brand, growth, product marketing, communications, and customer lifecycle—to drive demand generation, pipeline creation, and brand positioning for a Series A insurtech.
Expectations: • Deliver measurable growth and a differentiated brand that establishes market leadership. • Create a scalable, metrics‑driven demand engine and optimize CAC/ROI. • Align marketing strategy with product, sales, and company objectives. • Build a high‑performing, data‑first marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a cross‑channel demand generation strategy (digital, content, events, partners) to accelerate pipeline and revenue.
- Optimize marketing funnel, reduce CAC, and improve ROI through continuous testing and analytics.
- Develop brand narrative, positioning, and thought‑leadership initiatives to secure PR, press coverage, and industry influence.
- Collaborate with Product to craft positioning, messaging, pricing support, and sales enablement for new launches.
- Own go‑to‑market plans, segmentation, pricing, and enablement materials for Sales and Customer Success.
- Hire, mentor, and lead a multi‑discipline marketing team; establish KPIs, reporting, and scalable processes.
- Partner with Executive team on strategy, fundraising support, and company‑wide initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 8–15+ years in marketing, with 3–5 years in senior leadership at high‑growth B2B SaaS or insurtech/fintech.
- Proven track record of building demand generation, digital marketing, and brand programs in a startup or scaling context.
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable owning revenue‑impacting KPIs, funnel optimization, and budget allocation.
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex insurance products into clear, compelling narratives.
- Cross‑functional collaborator experienced with Sales, Product, and Executive teams.
- Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environments.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Advanced marketing certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Google Ads, Salesforce, or similar) preferred but not mandatory.
