Job Description
Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst Role Summary: Assist in M&A, debt, and equity transactions by building and maintaining complex financial models, preparing client presentations, and conducting industry and company research. Support deal execution from pitch to closing, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Expectations: • Minimum 6 months of full‑time investment banking experience (bulge‑bracket, middle market, or boutique). • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with graduation expected in May 2025 or December 2025. Key Responsibilities: • Construct and update comprehensive financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions). • Prepare pitchbooks, offering memoranda, and other transaction materials. • Perform industry and company‑specific research to support deal teams. • Analyze financial statements, identify business drivers, risks, and growth opportunities. • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth transaction processes. • Contribute to business development and market update efforts. • Manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a high‑pressure environment. • Support M&A or capital markets transactions across various industry sectors. Required Skills: • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling skills. • Solid understanding of corporate finance concepts and valuation methodologies. • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving abilities. • Clear communication skills and a collaborative team orientation. • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on strict timelines. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related discipline. • Relevant coursework or training in financial modeling, corporate finance, and valuation. ---
