Job Description
Job Title: Summer 2026 E‑Commerce Intern Role Summary: Participate in a 12‑week U.S. summer internship focused on e‑commerce analytics for VF’s Altra, Smartwool, and Icebreaker brands. Interns work full‑time (40 hrs/week) in Denver, CO, applying data analysis to drive digital commerce strategy, conversion rate optimization, and performance reporting. Expectations: - Complete assigned projects that deliver business‑impacting insights and actionable recommendations. - Attend all hybrid meetings (3 in‑office days) and actively collaborate with cross‑functional teams (UX, marketing, tech, retail) across global hubs. - Prepare progress updates and a final showcase presentation to senior leaders. - Demonstrate curiosity, analytical rigor, and commitment to high‑quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze consumer, transactional, and on‑site data from e‑commerce and retail stores. - Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) tracking KPIs such as traffic, conversion, revenue, and forecasting. - Conduct CRO testing, QA of site features, and competitive benchmarking. - Interpret consumer behavior to inform marketing activation and product strategy. - Visualize insights and create clear narratives for stakeholders. - Support daily data flows, ad‑hoc analytics, and cross‑team initiatives. - Collaborate globally to share market insights and trends. Required Skills: - Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with GA4. - Basic knowledge of SQL or Python (preferred). - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Collaborative and self‑motivated, able to work independently and within teams. - Detail‑oriented problem‑solving and organizational skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Junior or senior in a U.S. 4‑year university, graduating May 2026–June 2027. - Pursuing a BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field. - Academic coursework in statistics, analytics, or data science preferred.
