**Job title** Commercial / Business Developer – Energy Transition **Role Summary** Drive revenue growth for the MINT Energy Management System (EMS) by identifying new market opportunities, shaping sales strategies, and converting market insights into profitable contracts. Act as a liaison between product development, marketing, and clients to ensure solutions meet market demands and help customers transition to sustainable energy sources. **Expectations** • Achieve defined sales targets and expand the customer base within the energy transition sector. • Translate market intelligence into actionable proposals and contracts. • Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and solutions to customers. • Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the sales process. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and optimize the end‑to‑end sales process for energy‑transition solutions, aligning with the All‑Electric Society vision. 2. Develop compelling value propositions, prepare detailed quotations, pricing calculations, and risk analyses. 3. Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams to define market‑fit messaging and feature prioritization. 4. Monitor energy‑market trends, regulatory changes, and technology advancements to spot new business opportunities. 5. Advise clients on technologies that accelerate their transition to renewable energy, including BESS, EV, photovoltaic, P2X, wind, and future DC‑grid concepts. **Required Skills** - Deep technical understanding of high‑voltage power supply, grid interconnection, power factor, and reactive/apparent power concepts. - Comprehensive knowledge of electricity markets (BRP, BSP, imbalance, FCR, aFFR, mFFR) and financing of grid‑connected renewable solutions. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities. - Client‑centric mindset, pragmatic problem‑solving, and strong analytical skills. - Proven capability to translate technical knowledge into a clear vision and share that vision effectively. - Proactive in staying current with sector‑specific technological developments and identifying emerging opportunities. - Fluency in Dutch and/or French; speaking English is highly desirable. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional certifications in sales or renewable energy (e.g., Certified Energy Manager, Project Management Professional) are a plus but not mandatory.
