Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Data Cloud Solution Architect Role Summary: Design, architect, and oversee end‑to‑end implementations of Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) solutions, integrating with Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing Clouds and external data sources. Lead data modeling, ingestion, harmonization, segmentation, and activation strategies to deliver high‑quality, governed data for analytics and marketing automation. Expectations:** - Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise solutions architecture, specifically Salesforce platforms. - Proven track record delivering large‑scale data integration and CDP projects. - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to translate business requirements into technical designs. Key Responsibilities: - Architect comprehensive data architectures for Salesforce Data Cloud, including data models, ingestion pipelines, and identity resolution. - Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, Salesforce Shield). - Lead the implementation of Data Cloud features: ingestion, harmonization, segmentation, activation, and real‑time data processing. - Design integration patterns with external systems (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Mulesoft, etc.) and manage ETL/ELT workflows. - Collaborate with business analysts, marketers, data scientists, and development teams to capture requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Produce architectural documentation, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications. - Monitor system performance; recommend and implement optimizations for scalability and efficiency. - Mentor and train internal teams on Data Cloud capabilities, best practices, and architectural standards. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP), CRM Analytics, Marketing Cloud, and core Salesforce platform. - Proficiency with Salesforce data models, APIs, and integration patterns. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, data lakes, data warehouses, and real‑time data processing. - Experience with identity resolution, data harmonization, and segmentation strategies. - Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (Mulesoft, Informatica, Talend, or custom solutions). - Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data connectors. - Strong command of SQL, Python, Apex, JSON, XML. - Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, CRM Analytics). - Understanding of data privacy regulations and experience implementing role‑based access controls and encryption. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred). - Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant (preferred). - Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred). ---
