Job Description
Job title: Customer Onboarding Specialist Role Summary: Facilitate the onboarding process for new professional tax preparer customers, ensuring smooth software setup, data migration, and early adoption support while performing internal onboarding tasks for new hires. Expactations: Deliver a seamless onboarding experience that promotes customer satisfaction and retention; maintain accurate onboarding records; manage multiple tasks concurrently; represent the company professionally in all customer interactions. Key Responsibilities: • Guide customers through software installation, account creation, and EFIN documentation upload. • Assist with data migration from previous tax platforms. • Serve as the primary contact during early adoption, providing instructions, resources, and updates via phone, email, and web tools. • Coordinate pre‑employment paperwork and benefits enrollment for new hires. • Schedule and conduct training sessions for incoming employees. • Ensure compliance with internal policies and documentation standards. • Maintain organized onboarding documentation and system entries. Required Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication. • Excellent organizational and multi‑tasking abilities. • Detail‑oriented with high attention to accuracy. • Proficiency in customer service and technical assistance. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field. • Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service, onboarding support, software assistance, or administrative coordination.
