**Job Title**
Snowflake AI/ML Senior Solution Architect
**Role Summary**
Lead technical advisory on Snowflake AI/ML solutions, guiding customers through design, deployment, and optimization of data science pipelines. Engage in pre‑sales and post‑sales activities, deliver demos and POCs, and ensure customers adopt best practices for model development and MLOps on Snowflake.
**Expectations**
- 12–14 years senior technical experience with customers (pre‑sales or post‑sales).
- Proven ability to articulate complex concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Deep knowledge of the full data science lifecycle, MLOps, and public cloud platforms.
- Hands‑on expertise building and deploying ML pipelines using Snowflake and partner tools.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as technical champion for Snowflake AI/ML workloads, providing best‑practice guidance.
- Design, build, and deploy ML pipelines using Snowflake SQL, Snowpark, and ecosystem partners (e.g., Dataiku, H2O).
- Develop POCs with SQL and Python to demonstrate Snowflake capabilities to clients.
- Enable customers through knowledge transfer and documentation to sustain Snowflake usage.
- Keep abreast of competitors, complementary AI/ML technologies, and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with System Integrators to integrate Snowflake into customer environments.
- Resolve complex customer technical challenges and mentor professional services colleagues.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to refine Snowflake AI/ML offerings.
**Required Skills**
- Cloud: Proficient in at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Data Science Tools: AWS SageMaker, AzureML, Dataiku, Datarobot, H2O, or Jupyter.
- Programming: SQL plus one of Python, Java, or Scala.
- Libraries: Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn, or equivalent.
- MLOps: Experience with model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Presentation: Strong verbal and written communication for both technical and executive audiences.
**Bonus Skills**
- Generative AI, LLMs, vector databases, GenAI, RAG.
- Databricks / Apache Spark.
- ETL pipeline implementation.
- Previous data science role.
- Enterprise software success.
- Vertical domain expertise (FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications in cloud, data science, or MLOps are advantageous.
