Job Description

Job title: Ecommerce Site Manager (Internship/Apprenticeship) Role Summary: Manage and enhance the performance of an e‑commerce platform. Monitor key metrics, execute weekly mailing campaigns, improve SEO rankings, create technical content, assist development tasks, add new products, and explore AI tool integrations to drive site growth and user engagement. Expectations: - Proactive and self‑motivated, willing to propose innovative value‑adding initiatives. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Strong analytical mindset for performance monitoring and optimization. - Curiosity to stay updated on e‑commerce trends, SEO, and AI technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Track and report on site performance indicators (traffic, conversion, basket abandonment, etc.). - Plan, draft, and send weekly email marketing campaigns. - Conduct on‑page and off‑page SEO improvements, keyword research, and ranking monitoring. - Write clear, technical product articles and website content. - Provide support to the development team on site issues and feature enhancements. - Add and update product listings with accurate metadata and images. - Evaluate and implement AI tools (chatbots, recommendation engines, content generators). - Identify and propose further opportunities for site optimization and revenue growth. Required Skills: - Knowledge of e‑commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento). - Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush). - Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and content management systems. - Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, SendGrid, Klaviyo). - Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and recommend actions. - Strong written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus. - Eagerness to learn and adopt emerging AI technologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field. - Internship or apprenticeship experience in e‑commerce or digital marketing is highly desirable. - Certifications in Google Analytics, AdWords, or SEO tools are a plus.
