Job Description: Job Title: Revenue Officer Role Summary: Serve as the primary face of the transport network, providing customer assistance, promoting correct ticket purchase, and safeguarding revenue through ticket inspections and penalty issuance. Operate independently across routes while collaborating with internal teams, partner agencies, and community events to maintain service integrity and customer confidence. Expactations: * Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times * Demonstrate confidence and calmness in challenging situations * Exhibit honesty, integrity, and respect for company values * Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events * Commit to accurate record‑keeping and continuous service improvement Key Responsibilities: - Patrol the network to inspect tickets, identify fare evasion, and encourage lawful fare purchase. - Issue penalty fare notices in accordance with penalty fare legislation. - Coordinate with partner agencies (e.g., transport police, safeguarding units) to reduce ticketless travel. - Provide immediate, friendly assistance to passengers at all points of contact. - Serve as a reliable information source during service disruptions and large‑scale events. - Participate in surveys, engagement sessions, and marketing initiatives to gather passenger feedback. - Record observations accurately and forward actionable insights to supervisors. - Represent the organization at community and stakeholder events. Required Skills: - Prior customer‑facing experience in transport, retail, or hospitality. - Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Confidence and composure when handling difficult interactions. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. - Numeracy and procedural interpretation capabilities. - Flexibility regarding working hours and duties. - Integrity and pride in representing the organization.
