Job title: Graduate eCommerce Web Developer
Role Summary:
Entry‑level developer responsible for building, testing, and maintaining eCommerce solutions using PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and modern front‑end frameworks. Integrates AI coding assistants to accelerate development, contributes to feature design, bug fixes, and continuous improvement of web applications.
Expactations:
- Deliver clean, scalable code within agreed sprint timelines.
- Continuously expand AI tool proficiency and share insights in team sessions.
- Complete weekly learning modules and demonstrate measurable skill growth.
- Collaborate effectively with senior developers and cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test eCommerce modules in Magento/Adobe Commerce and Shopify environments.
- Implement front‑end components with AlpineJS, Tailwind CSS, Vue.js, ensuring responsive UI.
- Write and maintain backend services in PHP/Laravel, integrating MySQL, Redis, and other databases.
- Use Git, GitHub Actions, and Ansible for version control, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Apply AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to generate, review, and improve code.
- Participate in hackathons, workshops, and peer reviews to evaluate emerging AI technologies.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
Required Skills:
- Object‑oriented programming in PHP, Java, or C# with hands‑on experience.
- Front‑end development with JavaScript, AlpineJS, Tailwind CSS, Vue.js.
- Experience on Linux command line and open‑source tooling.
- Version control experience with Git.
- Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (Magento/Adobe Commerce, Shopify).
- Proficient with AI coding agents; ability to write effective prompts and assess AI output.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork; self‑motivation for independent work.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Recent graduate or graduating within the year with a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related IT field.
