Senior Manager, Infrastructure
**Role Summary**
Lead the Technology Infrastructure & Cybersecurity function within an IT department, ensuring the design, deployment, maintenance, and support of secure, high‑availability systems that meet business objectives. Manage a cross‑disciplinary team and coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and finance to deliver scalable, compliant IT services.

- Maintain infrastructure reliability, performance, and security to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and client focus.
- Lead incident response and cybersecurity initiatives to protect data and comply with regulations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain networks, servers, cloud services, and hardware.
- Optimize system performance; manage asset lifecycle, procurement, and decommissioning.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and incident responses.
- Oversee IT service desk operations, SLAs, and staff training.
- Negotiate with third‑party vendors (cloud providers, software, managed services) for cost‑effective solutions.
- Prepare and manage IT budget; ensure cost efficiency while meeting quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including documentation for audits.
- Create and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (cloud, automation, AI) for integration into IT services.
- Report infrastructure performance, project status, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced knowledge of computer systems, networking, operating systems, cloud platforms, and telecommunications.
- Proven cybersecurity expertise: threat assessment, policy development, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
- Leadership: team management, mentorship, conflict resolution, and decision‑making.
- Project management skills: scope, budgeting, scheduling, risk mitigation.
- Strong communication: ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Vendor management and negotiation.
- Analytical & problem‑solving aptitude for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (mandatory).
- Master’s or graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in infrastructure operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft CCSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent credentials are advantageous.
