Job Description

Job title: Finance Systems Manager (SAP S4/HANA) Role Summary: Lead and transition SAP S4/HANA support from an external provider to an internal Centre of Excellence. Design and implement finance system processes, ensure efficient reporting, and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to achieve a robust, compliant SAP environment. Expectations: - Deliver the transition within the initial 3‑month contract; potential for extension. - Build an in‑house SAP Centre of Excellence to support finance operations across a multi‑entity organization. - Provide strategic oversight for SAP enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing system optimizations. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and define SAP support requirements for in‑house delivery. - Establish and operate the SAP Centre of Excellence: service desk, issue resolution, user management, transport, security, batch processing, performance monitoring. - Manage SAP data flows to consolidation module (Lucanet) and other interfaces. - Lead system administration tasks: database, cloud infrastructure, change/release management, upgrade planning (2026 target). - Train finance teams on best practices and support end‑user adoption. - Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business units to align SAP functionality with reporting needs. - Oversee Jira ticket administration and resolve financial reporting month‑end and quarter‑end issues. Required Skills: - Extensive SAP S4/HANA implementation and integration experience. - Proven track record managing SAP in a global, multi‑entity environment. - Experience building and running an in‑house SAP Centre of Excellence. - Strong stakeholder management and influencing across functions and geographies. - Hands‑on, results‑driven approach with strategic program management capability. - Knowledge of SAP financial modules (GL, cost centres, profit centres, etc.) and related data interfaces. - Familiarity with Jira, transport management, database administration, and cloud SAP solutions (Rise). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - SAP S4/HANA certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting or similar). - Additional certifications in SAP project management or finance (e.g., SAP Certified Project Manager, SAP Certified Finance Professional) are preferred.
