**Job title:** Quantitative Developer – Trading Technology
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions that underpin systematic trading strategies across equities, futures, and FX. Work closely with Quantitative Researchers to translate research ideas into robust, production‑ready algorithms, ensuring the platform’s stability, security, and performance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver scalable, high‑performance code for alpha estimation, risk modeling, and back‑testing.
- Provide end‑to‑end solutions from data ingestion to live trading and simulation.
- Collaborate with research and trading teams to integrate new features and optimize existing flows.
- Maintain rigorous data validation, storage, and security standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build and extend research infrastructure: data pipelines, statistic engines, risk modules, and simulation frameworks.
- Develop and deploy production code for real‑time signal generation, trade execution, and monitoring.
- Ensure platform reliability through testing, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Create automated data quality checks and robust storage layers.
- Support live trading and paper‑trading environments, including back‑testing and performance analytics.
- Work cross‑functionally with product owners to prioritize and scope new features.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong programming in Python (preferred) or C++ (acceptable).
- Experience designing and engineering large‑scale data‑intensive systems.
- Familiarity with financial data structures, alpha research, and risk assessment tools.
- Solid grasp of software engineering best practices: version control, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
- Ability to interpret quantitative research requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and performance tuning abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of core engineering experience in a technology firm, hedge fund, trading firm, investment bank, or fintech company.
