Job title: IT Testing & Quality Lead
Role Summary: Lead the design, execution, and management of comprehensive test plans to ensure reliability, performance, and security of IT systems and networks. Oversee quality assurance protocols, monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain high service standards.
Expactations: Deliver end‑to‑end testing coverage, identify defects, oversee remediation, and validate system functionality against business and security requirements. Provide timely, data‑driven insights on system performance and risk. Support continuous improvement of testing processes and quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for network, server, and application environments.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; coordinate with development and operations teams for timely resolution.
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and security posture, and report findings to stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce quality standards, testing procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with network administrators, security specialists, and technical support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior testing staff and promote quality culture across the IT organization.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills:
- Strong network administration and network security knowledge.
- Expertise in IT troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem resolution.
- Experience in automated and manual testing methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and written/ verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams.
- Customer‑service orientation with experience delivering quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications, e.g., CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator), or equivalent network/security credentials.
