Sales Director – France
**Role Summary**
Lead and scale the French business unit’s revenue by directing a multi‑brand commercial team. Develop and execute national sales strategies, foster partner ecosystems, optimize performance through KPI governance, and deliver high‑value technical solutions to end‑users, distributors, and prospects.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and implement the French commercial strategy, including market segmentation, pricing policy, and product portfolio optimisation.
- Build, manage, and strengthen a network of key distributors, creating strategic partnerships and innovative technical proposals.
- Coordinate national account strategy for high‑value clients, anticipating market evolution and client needs.
- Deploy and monitor KPI dashboards; analyse results by product, region, and sales rep; adjust action plans to hit targets.
- Coach, train, and support field sales teams in client‑centric, technical selling, including complex negotiations with large accounts and distributors.
- Conduct competitive intelligence, identify new business opportunities, and adapt offerings to evolving market demands.
- Relay customer insights to R&D, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders to refine product and solution development.
- Perform HR tasks for the sales team: hiring, development planning, and performance reviews.
- Travel extensively within France as required.
**Required Skills**
- Proven strategic and operational sales leadership for multi‑brand, technology‑centric businesses.
- Strong commercial acumen in BtoB and BtoD markets; adept at complex negotiations and partnership management.
- Excellent analytical skills with a track record of KPI‑driven performance improvement.
- Outstanding communication, coaching, and team‑building abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in office and CRM tools.
- Management competence with experience in supervising, evaluating, and developing sales staff.
- Fluency in French; English proficiency considered a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional sales or management certification (e.g., Certified Sales Professional, PMP) is advantageous.
